Some more on our journey along the coast of southern France, drinking copious amounts of regional rosé wherever we went, an amazing seafood feast for lunch, the Mediterranean bright colours brought out by the dazzling midday sun, my fantastic steak tartare (although I have to say the one I had at Macleay St Bistro in Sydney last January far surpassed this one! who'd have thought..), Nelson looking very pleased with his lunch and the view from my window as we sail along the coast... you can see a massive super yacht in the distance on the horizon of course..

I just realised I had a bunch of Instagram pics on my phone that I love and I should share with you today! From the top, shoes I will be wearing tonight at Supperclub, my gorgeous cheeky nephew Maxwell (you can learn more about Max if you check out his fabulous mamma's vintage blog over here), Tate London, a special bridal gift of stamped initial necklaces made by my jewellery line agridulce, sharing a slightly cooler day at Borough Markets with some of my favourite people in London (along with some spiked hot chocolate for courage), laughs with Siri on the iPhone 4S and a crazy dinner at my house last weekend that ended in a dance off with my besties: Esther from Barcelona, Fabi the Brasillian Arsenal fan and Bel who after a short stint back in Melbourne has packed up all her things and moved back to London to hang out with me (surely that's why)...

Part 1 of meandering along the Cote D'Azur... the scenery is amazing as the colour changes from white sand to red Alps. I didn't expect to see such stunning cliffs abruptly fall away into the sea just around the corner from Cannes but as always France is full of surprises... I took the opportunity as usual to soak up the intense sun before heading back to London...

Their is a certain desperation you see in the eyes of a fresh Sydneysider (I suppose the same could be said for those from Melbourne as well) when they arrive in London. Meeting up with friends in their first few weeks.. the inevitable question will arise in the first 5 minutes of conversation.. "where can I buy a decent coffee in London!" And then it is your obligation to pass on the hallowed list of all the good coffee places in London, and usually close to the top of the list is Monmouth. So last Saturday we hustled our freshies down to the Borough Markets and before we sampled any buffalo mozzarella, balsamic vinegar or ate our Cumberland sausage roll, we stood patiently in the line that stretched around the corner until it was our turn to grasp the warm cup with a love heart on top and say "ahhhh finally! some good coffee!"
And once again all was right in the world...
