A few weeks ago in Spain. Typical photo of me when travelling...desperately trying to soak up the sun with my SLR glued to my eye. I think my lovely French friend took this pic tongue in cheek as I kept papping her and her new boyfriend - well they were so cute! ahh young love. The Havianas are a nod to my Aussie heritage.. I knew the next 6 months would be spent in boots!

A weekend away in the English countryside, a needed breath of fresh air from London living. I love this time of the year when the leaves are changing colour and there is a chill in the air. We spent the weekend hiding out in ancient pubs with amazing roasts, sitting next to open fires and sampling their best ales. Stopped off in Stratford-upon-Avon to see Shakespeare's birthplace, which was completely touristy but very pretty!

Sheep on Savile Row

Monday Monday and there are sheep on Savile Row... you always see something different in London that's for sure! The stunt, aptly called "Field Day" markes the start of Wool Week, drawing attention to the outdated belief that wool is course and uncomfortable to wear. (I used to think the same until I discovered the potential of Merino wool. For some reason it doesn't irritate me like other wools..)

Sunday afternoon spent in Hampstead Heath soaking up the last few rays of sun before winter really begins! I think you can see from these pics that i'm really enjoying the sun on my face before the sun sets behind a hill and the air turns chilly. Being a Sydney girl, I struggle with the impending winter so i've decided just to invest in all the gorgeous knitwear and shearling in the shops right now. It's the only way to get throught it ;)
