I had so much fun attending the Issa show during London Fashion Week (before I went to Venice) to view their Autumn Winter 2012 collection. It was definitely my favourite Issa collection to date, I especially loved the Russian hats and references to the 1920's flappers. Just when the weather starts warming up we start dreaming of what we will wear when it starts cooling down again!
This time next week I'll be leaving for Venice (and hoping the canals have unfrozen!) so my mind has inadvertently turned to all things Italian. Today I stumbled upon these beautiful street photos from Tuscany but the talented Laura Malucchi. Laura lives about an hour out of Florence in Pieve a Nievole. She has only been shooting for a couple of years, but her images bring out the natural beauty of the area with the most wonderful light. I'm looking forward to seeing what amazing work she produces in the future..
The new spring windows at Anthropologie are amazing! Just what I needed to see on this cold grey day. A tribute to Abstract Expressionism, they had a field day with their imagination to create these windows. One of my favourite things to do is just wander around their stores, soaking up new ideas for my own place.
Their beautiful website is here, but I suggest you check our their Facebook page for behind the scenes photos..
I've spent years stalking antique stores, eBay and Etsy in the hope of finding the perfect vintage bar cart with no luck. When I dream of the perfect interior, I just want one of these in the corner all lined up with my different glasses ready to elegantly offer drinks to my guests. So as you will imagine, seeing this spread on Honestly...WTF was the best eye candy I had see all week!
